ChartChest is a web-based AI analysis platform for stocks and crypto. No installation required — just open the app and search for any ticker.

1. Go to chartchest.com/app — no account needed to start.
2. Search a ticker — type any stock (e.g. AAPL, NVDA) or crypto (e.g. BTC-USD, ETH-USD) in the search bar.
3. Read your analysis — the 14-stage AI pipeline runs automatically and returns a full signal report within seconds.
4. Save to watchlist — create a free account to save up to 3 tickers and receive ELITE signal alerts.
5. Upgrade to Pro — unlock the live scanner, executive report, ML confidence scores, and unlimited watchlist.

Signals — Breakout & Crash Tiers

Every analysis produces a directional signal (bullish breakout or bearish crash) rated by conviction tier. Tiers are determined by combining multiple independent evidence sources — not a single indicator.

Breakout vs. Crash signals

Both bullish breakout and bearish crash signals share the same tier system. Direction is always shown alongside the tier (e.g. ELITE BUY or STRONG SELL).

Signal horizons

Each signal includes probability estimates for three forward horizons:

• 1 day — short-term momentum
• 5 day — swing / weekly view
• 21 day — positional / monthly view

The 14-Stage AI Pipeline

When you search a ticker, ChartChest runs a multi-layer analysis stack. Each stage feeds into the next, ensuring the final signal is backed by independent confirmation — not a single indicator.

1. OHLCV data fetch — live daily price & volume data loaded for the symbol.
2. Feature engineering — 182 technical features computed: RSI, MACD, ATR, Bollinger Bands, ADX, choppiness index, volume z-scores, and more.
3. Regime detection — Bayesian classifier determines the current market regime: trending bull, trending bear, sideways, or high-volatility.
4. Compression detection — volatility contraction scanned for coiling price action (a classic pre-breakout setup).
5. Volume expansion check — unusual volume vs. rolling baseline flags potential institutional activity.
6. Dark pool proxy — volume anomaly model estimates unreported institutional flow ahead of FINRA biweekly disclosure.
7. Candlestick pattern recognition — key reversal and continuation patterns identified.
8. LightGBM ML model — trained on 3+ years of walk-forward validated data, outputs a calibrated probability for the directional move.
9. Confidence calibration — isotonic regression applied to raw ML probability to produce well-calibrated confidence (ECE < 6%).
10. Cross-sectional ranking — symbol's signal strength ranked vs. its peers and sector.
11. Horizon return estimation — expected-return scaling applied per horizon (1D / 5D / 21D).
12. Meta-gating — a secondary model gates the signal: if P(profitable) < threshold, output is suppressed to HOLD.
13. Signal stacking & tier assignment — all evidence is aggregated; tier (ELITE/STRONG/STANDARD/WEAK) is assigned.
14. Executive summary generation — AI synthesises macro context, scenario projections (bull / base / bear / breakout / breakdown), and actionable commentary. Pro

Market Breakout Scanner Pro

The scanner pre-computes signals across 500+ symbols (S&P 500 stocks + top-33 crypto) and refreshes every 15 minutes during market hours. Results are ranked by signal tier so you surface ELITE opportunities instantly — without having to search symbol by symbol.

Executive Report Pro

The Executive Report is a full AI deep-dive generated for a symbol on demand. It goes beyond the signal tier to provide:

• Macro & sector context — how the broader market regime affects this symbol
• Signal confluence summary — which pipeline stages agree, disagree, and why
• Scenario projections — bull, base, bear, breakout, and breakdown cases with estimated return ranges per horizon
• Key risk factors — what would invalidate the current signal
• Actionable commentary — plain-English summary of the full analysis

Executive Reports are available for any symbol searchable in the app. Generating a report typically takes 5–15 seconds.

ML Confidence Scores Pro

Every signal shown to Pro users includes a calibrated ML confidence score (0–100%). This is the model's estimated probability that the signal direction will be correct over the signal horizon.

How it's calibrated

Raw LightGBM probability is post-processed with isotonic regression, walk-forward validated across 3+ years of out-of-sample data, and tested against a calibration decile curve. Expected Calibration Error (ECE) is < 6%.

How to use it

• ≥ 70% — high conviction; signal is well-supported by the model
• 55–70% — moderate conviction; worth monitoring
• < 55% — low conviction; treat as informational only

Confidence scores are not a guarantee of returns. They reflect model certainty, not actual future performance.
